Japanese bathrooms

Posted in funny at 5:13 pm by Salah

In my last post I mentioned how Metal Gar nailed the research by figuring out stuff about mid-easterns and bathrooms. However, I might be totally wrong. Neoark mentioned to me that the Japanese also have the same kind of thing bathroom-wise. When I read that, I had to go search for it.

Apparently the Japanese do have the same kind of people and the same kind of bathrooms there are in middle-east; check this out. This is an American guy (I think) who lives in Tokyo, and he just burst in tears from laughing at the way he described this Image you see above.

It’s fair to say that there is a big chance the producers of Metal Gear were just pointing at the Japanese and not the mid-easterns. Yet it’s either a freaky coinsidence or they DID go to deep research.

Thanks Neoark for the heads up.

Metal Gear knows a lot about Arabs

I remember a while ago when I was having a talk with one of my friends about how some people in the gulf are still living like it’s the 1800s; and then he mentioned to me this funny thing about how those people use the toilette seat as if it was the old Arabic toilette—a fancy hole on the ground with sewers involved. Anyways, he told me that it isn’t that those people don’t know how to use the toilette seat, but they actually think it’s better to use it their way; which is instead of sitting down, they would stand on the seat!

Don’t be surprised that people would know such information. While I was playing Metal Gear, I reached a palace which is located in Iraq; trying to find my way through, I walked in a wrecked bathroom and I noticed this hilarious picture.

The picture is not very clear, but there is an X on the drawing on the left side—the wrong way of using the toilette.

Great research Konami!

Deciding what game

So I want to enjoy the rest of this nice evening playing PS3 but I’m still deciding what to play:

1-Metal Gear

2-COD4 (online)

3-GTA IV

4-Winning eleven

I’m feeling closer to a metal gear night, but I might choose something faster than metal gear.

Update: Metal gear it is.

“Role models”

Posted in movies, review at 12:11 am by Salah

Yesterday I went to see “Role Models” with no pre-plans for watching it. I’m so glad that I did go see this movie. It was one of the most hilarious stuff I’ve watched on the big screen after “the 40 year old virgin.” The movie is starring Sean William Scott and Paul Rudd, who are both working as a sales reps for an energy drink company. While trying to promote this energy drink, they misbehave and they go to court where the judge orders them to do a community deed to avoid jail.

They then join this association of taking care of children and each of them is assigned to be a companion with a child. The kids are Christopher Mintz-Plasse (from super bad), and Bobb’e J. Thompson. Very cool combination of kids and old kids. Seriously funny stuff, and if you liked Paul Rudd in “the 40 year old virgin” then you’ll love him even more in this movie; thus you’ll see how good this movie is.

Many thoughts are coming to my mind to describe the type of comedy in this movie, but I can’t help not seeing Paul Rudd in my mind every time I remember this movie. Therefore, it is a Paul Rudd-in “40 year old virgin” type of comedy.
